In Dhaka city there are a lot offce,school,college.University,Industry.Market,park etc. A lot of people goes one place to another in the town.And it is the center of the whole country.So all the people come to dhaka from other sides. For move from one place to another we must need a vehicle for go one place to another.people are increasing rapidely and car also increasing but the roads are not increasing. As a result teaffic jam causes.
The main reason for traffic jam in dhaka city are :
Insufficient roads.
Narrow roads.
Illegal parking of cars.
Slower vehicles like rickshaw,van,etc.
Insufficient overbrize.
Bus stop long time in the bus stoppage.
Foot path is under the hawker.
Overtaking tendency.
Rail line goes across the bus line.
V I P protocol maintaining.
Unawareness of traffic rules
Unskilled drivers.
Inadequate traffic police.
Careless of passers by
Unlicenced vehicles
Lots of private cars.
To reduce traffic jam we can take steps such as:
- Have a good public transport system so people would use it
- Ban rickshaw from the main roads of Dhaka
- Good traffic...
